§ Mr. van StraubenzeeI understand that the Medical Research Council awards grants for specific research projects regardless of where in the United Kingdom they originate. During 1972–73, the value of grants awarded for projects undertaken in Northern Ireland was £63,290, in England £3,288,988, in Wales £87,696 and in Scotland £541,984.
