Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish a table giving the rate of unemployment among employable disabled people seeking work in each of the planning regions of the United Kingdom in each month since September 1968.

The information requested in respect of the planning regions is not readily available, but I am able to give the rate of unemployment amongst registered disabled people in each of my Department's English regions and in Scotland and Wales for the months requested. My Department does not keep such information in relation to Northern Ireland.
