§ Mrs. FennerThe average auction market price of clean cattle was £18.22 per live cwt. during September 1973 and was £18.16 in the week ending 16th October. The September average was an increase of 24 per cent, over September 1972. The increase in price of various retail cuts of home-killed beef between mid-September 1972 and 1973 has been as follows: —
