§ Mr. Brayasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will continue to give the active support of his Department to environmental afforestation schemes such as the 1973 Tree Planting Year for at least the next five years to encourage the greater availability of British-grown trees and shrubs for such amenity projects.
§ Mr. Graham PageI can assure the House that my right hon. and learned Friend will continue in appropriate ways to encourage tree planting after the end of the Tree Planning Year campaign.
