§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary 0/ State for Social Services how many married women he estimates at the present time are subject to the half-test as a result of not electing to take up the married woman's option; and of these how many he estimates in any recent year lost their entitlement to a pension in their own center through not fulfilling the 453W half-test condition after contributing, respectively, for up to 10, 20, 30, 35 and 40 years.
§ Mr. DeanI regret that the information on which to base an estimate could not be obtained without undue expenditure of time and effort.
