§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will consider setting up an independent body to advise Her Majesty's Government on the formulation of youth service policy, to initiate research into and develop new ways of meeting the needs of young people through programmes of social education, and to keep under review the basic training and subsequent training of professional youth workers.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasMy right hon. Friend will carefully consider this and other suggestions which she has received about the future of the youth service.
