§ Mr. Fortescueasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that Table 50 of the Digest of Welsh Statistics No. 19 1972–73 published in September 1973 shows that 213 and 192 persons were put to death in Wales and Monmouthshire in the years 1971 and 1972, respectively; and whether he will make a statement.
