§ Mr. Tom BoardmanProducers of solid smokeless fuels in this country have suggested that imported petroleum coke is an unsuitable domestic fuel, while suppliers of the material, on the other hand, have represented that it should remain freely available. The current level of imports of petroleum coke amounts to about 3 per cent. of home production and consumption of manufactured domestic solid smokeless fuels.
