§ 37. Mr. Stanbrookasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he will make a statement on the progress of the negotiations between his Department, the Institution of Heating and Ventilating Engineers and the Council of Engineering Institutions concerning the professional status of members of the institution.
§ Mr. Michael HeseltineI held a further meeting with the Council of Engineering Institutions on 16th October and it told me that it intended to submit to me shortly a scheme which could lead to a satisfactory solution of this problem.
