§ Mr. Rowlandsasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will list the road schemes totalling £2½ million which have been deferred as a result of the Chancellor of the Exchequer's statement on 21st May 1973.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasThe reduction of £2½ million in 1974–75 affects both capital expenditure on the construction of motorways, trunk roads and local authority roads and current expenditure on those roads. I have not so far found it necessary to defer any schemes for motorway or trunk road construction.
