§ Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will request the Welsh Language Council, as soon as that body is fully constituted, to report upon the prospects of fostering the Welsh language through improving the range and content of children's television programmes in Welsh.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasWithin its broad terms of reference it will be for the council itself to decide its programme of work. It would not be appropriate for me to refer any particular question to it at this early stage.
