§ Q11. Dame Irene Wardasked the Prime Minister what action has been taken arising out of his meeting with the Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council on 20th June; and in particular whether the proposals put forward by it have been implemented.
§ The Prime MinisterFollowing my meeting with representatives of the Staff Side of the Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council, discussions were resumed between the two sides of the council on 21st August when the Management Side put forward improved proposals. No agreement has so far been reached.
