§ Mrs. Sally Oppenheimasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many live food animals have been exported since 12th July of this year, and how many are still to be exported under licences already in force on that date.
§ Mrs. FennerFrom 13th July up to 29th September some 8,110 cattle were inspected prior to shipment overseas for slaughter. There were no shipments of sheep or pigs for slaughter during this period. Information as to the number of animals still to be exported on licences already issued is not available, but the90W number of slaughter licences still valid is small.
