§ Mr. KershawNo. A certain number of flying exercises are essential if our forces are to be kept properly trained. But the number and scope of such exercises is being reduced to the minimum required for this purpose. I understand that a similar policy is being followed by the United States Air Force at Bent-waters and its other bases in this country.
