§ Mr. Dudley SmithThe report of the interdepartmental Working Party on Education and Training for Offshore Development, whose recommendations the Government have accepted, quotes the estimate of the Petroleum Industry Training Board that the demand for petroleum engineers will rise from 110 in 1973 to 370 in 1980, and comments that further work on the projections is likely to show a greater increase in demand.
