§ Mr. ChannonInstructions have been issued to reduce temperature in the Palace of Westminster from 68F degrees to 65F degrees and further reductions are being considered. All persons using Government vehicles serving the Palace of Westminster have been instructed to reduce petrol consumption by 10 per cent.
§ 37. Sir J. Langford-Holtasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in order to conform with the order forbidding the use of electricity for heating offices, whether he will ensure that no electricity is used for this purpose in the House of Commons.
