§ Mr. BuckAt normal cruising speed Her Majesty's Yacht "Britannia" uses one ton of furnace fuel oil about every seven miles. Consumption is calculated on cost for financial years: the estimate for petrol, oil and lubricants for 1973–74, including overheads such as the use of Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels in support, is £35,000.
