§ Sir K. JosephAdditional funds made available by the Department to National Health Service authorities each year are not allocated for particular types of expenditure. Allocations for 1974–75 will reflect the wider scope of the National Health Service, and it will be for health authorities themselves to decide, in the light of priorities, how much of the funds available to them are devoted to staff resources and to other purposes.
