§ The Prime MinisterThe man concerned is an executive officer on the staff at 10 Downing Street. He answered a number of questions about his duties, knowing that his answers were to be reported in a local newspaper, without first having sought permission in accordance with the rules governing all civil servants. He has apologised, and has undertaken to comply with the rules in future. No other disciplinary action has been taken.
