§ 49. Mr. Leadbitterasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what estimates he has made of the manpower requirements for his proposed consumer advice centres and of the number of centres needed to meet his objectives; what training facilities are being made available to service the centres; and what financial support he will provide in the form of grants or loans to encourage local authorities to implement his policies.
§ Mr. EmeryI am considering these matters in the light of consultations with the bodies concerned with the provision of consumer advice and the discussions I shall be having shortly with them and with local authority representatives.
