§ 30. Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will consider introducing grants or loans to assist in the rewiring of electrical systems in old properties.
§ Mr. EyreElectrical rewiring may already be grant-aided, at the discretion of the local authority, within the terms of the Housing Act 1969 as part of a full scheme for the improvement of an older dwelling. Powers also exist under which local authorities may make advances for repairs of this or any other kind.
