§ Miss Lestorasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if his attention 125W has been drawn to the article in the British Medical Journal on the relationship between the new type of bicycle for children and the number of cycling accidents; and if he will conduct an investigation into the safety of this type of bicycle.
§ Mr. PeytonThe answer to the first part of the Question is "Yes". In the light of an investigation which has already been carried out I see no reason to regulate in any special way the manufacture or sale of "high rise" bicycles.
