§ 33. Mr. John Smithasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on the effect of the withdrawal of the regional employment premium on the development areas, in the light of the most recent information on the attraction of industry to these areas.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantThe effect of the withdrawal of the premium will depend on many factors, including the rate and method of phasing out, the impact of our other regional aids and economic conditions at the time.
