HC Deb 12 November 1973 vol 864 c28W
Mr. McNamara

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many local authorities in England and Wales were unable to complete schemes submitted for Operation Eyesore because of the water shortage during the summer; and what projects and of what value were involved.

Mr. Rippon

So far as I am aware only three projects in Kingston upon Hull were affected in this way. Their total value was about £50,000. Grant has been paid on the work done on one of the projects which was started before the water shortage.
