§ Mr. St. John-StevasThe total value of school building programmes for England and Wales over the period 1970–71 to 1974–75, in terms of projects started or planned to start, and excluding the nursery education building programme for which there is no counterpart over the preceding five years, is £1,362 million at 1973 price levels. This represents an increase in real terms of 33 per cent. over the school building programmes for the five-year period up to 1969–70.
