§ Mr. Terry Davisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many companies have indicated that they intend to provide an opportunity for their employees to buy shares through the share saving scheme included in the Finance Act 1973.
§ Mr. NottThe share savings scheme legislation does not come into force until 1st December 1973 and it is expected that companies will begin to seek Inland Revenue approval for their schemes early in 1974.
