HC Deb 07 November 1973 vol 863 c189W
Mr. Kilfedder

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what has been the additional cost to schools and hospitals, to the latest available date, as a result of the decision of the oil companies not to grant a rebate but to charge the full schedule price.

Mr. Peter Mills

Up to 31st October the additional cost in respect of schools was about £4,000.

Hospitals are supplied with oil under contracts placed by the Northern Ireland Ministry of Finance. There has been no suggestion of a withdrawal of rebates by suppliers.
