HC Deb 07 November 1973 vol 863 c163W
27. Mr. Oram

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he is aware that there are still delays at the embassy in Islamabad in dealing with applications for entry certificates for wives or other dependants to join British subjects already living in this country: and if he will cause another investigation to be made into the facilities and procedures there with a view to improving the situation.

Lord Balniel

I am aware of the problem. The facilities and procedures are kept under constant review and I am satisfied that no special investigation is necessary at present.
