(2) what consultations he has had with the appropriate EEC authorities about the continuation of the grant and loan scheme for the fishing industry after 31st December 1973.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellIn the light of consultations which I have had with the industry, my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and I are considering what changes, if any, should be made in the grant and loan arrangements to apply after 31st December 1973. Proposals will be laid before Parliament shortly. No consultations with the EEC authorities are necessary unless substantial changes are proposed.
