§ 19. Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement about the progress of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe.
§ Mr. AmeryThe second stage of the conference began in Geneva on 18th September. Officials of the 35 countries taking part are now engaged in examining the agenda approved by Ministers in Helsinki. Many proposals and suggestions have been put forward. These are being discussed in the appropriate committees.
