§ Mr. Maurice MacmillanAn order—the Counter-Inflation (Construction Returns) Order 1973 (SI 1973 No. 1840)—was made on 2nd November and is being published today. It will require the Pay Board to be notified of the names and addresses of main contractors on major construction projects and for employers in the industry who employ 25 or more operatives to furnish quarterly returns of the earnings of direct employees and of payments to labour-only subcontractors.
