§ 36. Sir A. Meyerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he is aware of the plight of women who find themselves without means of support or prospect of pension after many years of caring for a sick relative; and whether he will consider granting an allowance to such women and enabling them to qualify for a retirement pension.
