§ 12. Mr. Michael McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what response he has received to the recommendations of the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council on occupational deafness.
§ Mr. DeanThe council's report was published on 31st October and it is as yet too early to judge the response to its recommendations, which have been accepted by the Government. Preparatory work to implement them has begun but it is not possible at this stage to say when they can be put into operation.
