§ Mr. Martenasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish the full text of the report together with details of the tests carried out by the Motor Industries Research Association, following on the crash test of a Model 70 invalid tricycle at Nuneaton in August; and if he will make the films of the tests available to interested parties.
§ Mr. AlisonNo. Whilst this action might help to reassure any users of this machine misled into believing it to be intrinsically hazardous, it would not accord with established practice. My right hon. Friend must be relied upon to ensure that all relevant data are evaluated by his experts and to take any action he finds necessary.
