§ Sir G. HoweThe number of compulsory liquidations in England and Wales in each of the years 1963 to 1971 inclusive was respectively 729, 724, 805, 934, 1,230, 1,108, 1,181, 1,269 and 1,166. The provisional figure for 1972 is 1,150. This and other information about compulsory liquidations is in the Companies' Annual Reports, copies of which are in the Library.
