What is the present number of persons employed in the Civil Service compared with June, 1970, and how many are industrial civil servants and how many non-industrial.

EARL, JELLICOE

In July, 1970, the total number was 701.790, of whom 495,965 were non-industrial civil servants and 205,825 were industrial. By April 1, 1973, the total figure had fallen to 700,152, of whom 511,000 were non-industrial and 189,152 industrial. The analysis of the April, 1973, figures is as follows:
