§ Mr. ChannonOn 16th April I had a meeting with representatives of the Greater London Council, of the London Boroughs Association and of the Inner London boroughs about the problems of housing stress areas, including ways of making fuller use of empty properties and securing the improvement of private tenanted properties.

Mr. Clinton Davisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he has read the report of the London Council of Social Services, entitled "London's Housing Needs", concerning housing in the stress areas of London, a copy of which has been sent to him; and what action he proposes to take thereon.
