How many civil servants travel each week to Brussels for meetings at the Commission of the European Communities; how many days on average per civil servant are involved in these meetings; and what is the total weekly cost.

At the present time, about 115 civil servants travel each week to Brussels for meetings at the Commission of the European Communities. The average stay in Brussels is about two days, and the total weekly cost to Her Majesty's Government amounts to about £1,900.
