§ Mr. LaneIn the financial year 1972–73, the Uganda Resettlement Board spent an estimated £4.4 million. This figure includes grants made by the board to local authorities up to the end of the financial year: further grants in respect of expenditure incurred by local authorities during that period will be made by288W the board during the current financial year. In addition, the Government contributed £50,000 to the Uganda Asian Relief Trust. Payments of supplementary benefit to the refugees are not separately recorded.
