§ Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action has been taken by the United Nations Human Rights Commission concerning religious persecution and apartheid, respectively.
§ Mr. AmeryThe commission has produced a draft convention and a draft declaration on religious intolerance and a draft convention on apartheid. In addition it has this year submitted to the United Nations Economic and Social Council a programme for a decade of action against racism, including apartheid.
