Friend will be aware, these are matters for the Civil Aviation Authority, which has set up a committee under the chairmanship of Group Captain Douglas Bader to consider them. The committee has received evidence from the airlines, BALPA and other interested parties, and is expected to present its report to the Authority within the next few weeks.
