Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what 49W has been the aggregate cost to the supplementary Benefits Commission of supplementary benefit paid to those involved in industrial disputes and their dependants, including any sums paid out after resumption of work and not subsequently recovered, since the initiation of his department's inquiry into the payment of benefit in industrial disputes.
