asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are the Gini co- efficients of the concentration of wealth in each of the years since 1970.

Mr. Nott

A Gini coefficient of the concentration of wealth is not yet available for any year after 1970. The coefficient for 1971 will be published in Inland Revenue Statistics, 1973.
