§ 27. Mr. Stokesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is satisfied that scrutiny and controls on the entry of visitors from both Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic are sufficient in present circumstances.
§ Mr. R. CarrSteps have already been taken to increase police surveillance at the Irish ports, both of passengers and vehicles. The precautions taken are kept under constant review and I shall not hesitate to propose any additional measures which prove to be needed.
