§ Dr. John A. Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received from local authorities for improvements to the A595 road between Whitehaven and Millom; and what replies he has sent.
§ Mr. SpeedMillom Urban District Council, which has sought improvement of the A595 trunk road, has been told that it is not sufficiently busy to justify comprehensive improvement. Minor schemes are however under consideration.
