§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the number of disputes that have occurred in the steel industry in the past 12 months, indicating the time lost, the nature of the disputes, and how many were inter-union.
§ Mr. Chichester-ClarkThe number of stoppages in metal manufacture which began in 1972 was 213. 657,000 working days were lost through stoppages in progress in the period. An analysis by cause is not yet available, but I will write later to my hon. Friend.
