§ Mr. Ormeasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, in view of the fact that the required public notices under Section 13 of the 1944 Education Act, concerning proposals for the reorganisation of secondary education in Salford, expired on 20th December 1972, and of the need for early decisions if the proposals are to be implemented as 195W intended in September 1973, if she will indicate when she expects to be able to give her decisions to the local education authority.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasMy right hon. Friend has a duty to consider very carefully all statutory proposals and any objections made to them. She will announce her decision in this case as quickly as possible.
