§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will issue a circular to local authorities reminding them of their obligations under Ministry of Health Circular 87/48 relating to the homeless.
§ Mr. DeanIn the light of their discussions with the local authorities concerned about the joint working party reports on homelessness, the Government will be consulting the local authority associations on this matter. They contemplate the issue of further guidance later this year.
