§ Mr. Peter Reesasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the assurance given by the then Attorney-General that the Revenue would not apply Section 460 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1970—then Section 28 of the Finance Act 1940—to an ordinary liquidation, he will ensure that it continues to honour that assurance.
