§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what transfer were made and what amounts were received by the United Kingdom in respect of the EEC during February 1973.
§ Mr. NottIn February 1973 the European Communities' sterling account within the Consolidated Fund was credited with £9,941,257–95 in respect of the United Kingdom's share of the Communities' estimated financing needs for March. Drawings in February were £2 million. In addition, transfer of £7,500,000 and £4,188,774 were made to the European Investment Bank, representing the first instalments of the United Kingdom's contribution to the Bank's capital and reserves.
No advances were made in February to the United Kingdom Intervention Board for Agricultural Produce and no other receipts were recorded.
